Gateway Teaching Fellowship

An immersive experience in working with children with learning challenges. As part of this fellowship, you will have an opportunity to interact closely with students, teachers, and families. You will be able to avail yourself of professional learning opportunities at Gateway, including knowledge-sharing workshops, classroom observations, professional learning communities, and working closely with coaches and mentors. Each fellow is assigned a co-teacher for a class, who is also your mentor. Co-teaching relationships are crucial at
Gateway as they support your journey to deeply understanding students and applying your knowledge to practical settings. Co-teachers support you with day-to-day planning and problem-solving. Apart from teaching, fellows have the opportunity to participate in initiatives at Gateway beyond the scope of their teaching role such as the communications, social committee, student council, research, and outreach, or the Tech task force.
