Social Media Marketing Manager

Reports to: Founder, Vice Principal

Receives assistance from: Social Media Strategist

Collaborates with: Founder and Core Leadership, Social Media Strategist

As the Social Media Manager, you will work closely with the team of the parent orgnaisation, the leaders of the foundation, and the social media strategists to enhance our organization’s presence across various platforms.
Your primary focus will be capturing and showcasing the parent orgnaisation & Gateway’s innovative practices to engage stakeholders and the community effectively. Under the guidance of the social media strategist, you
will help execute a comprehensive social media strategy and ensure its seamless implementation. Your strong diligence and time management skills will be essential as you create photo and video content tailored to each of
our four verticals.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

1. Social Media Management:

Curate, create, and manage content across various social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.

Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance organization visibility and engagement.

Conceptualize, create, and oversee the management of content for the organization's YouTube teaching channel.

Develop graphics and social media design collaterals

2. Website Management:

Plan and curate content for the parent organisation and the vertices of the Keshavlal V. Bodani Education Foundation.

Act as a liaison between the website maintenance team and Gateway, ensuring timely updates and alignment with organizational goals.

Collaborate with internal and external professionals to contribute to the organization's blog content.

3. Gateway Documentation:

Develop and maintain consistent branding across all communication materials, including email signatures and in-house documentation.

Conceptualize and create content for the annual report and donor videos, with guidance from the Co-Principals.

Play a key role in planning and executing in-house events, providing strategic solutions and design expertise as needed.

4. Strategic Plan Implementation:

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communications activities, providing regular reports on performance against predetermined targets.

Strengthen the parent organisation and the vertices of the Keshavlal V. Bodani Education Foundation’s brand positioning for increased visibility and growth.

Skills:

Adaptability and Crisis Management: Agile in responding to new trends and skilled in managing social media crises with professionalism and efficiency.

Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with social media platforms, content creation tools, and basic graphic design and video editing. Proficiency in video editing and photo editing software.

Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to craft clear, engaging messages tailored for different platforms.

Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective social media strategies, analyze performance metrics, and optimize campaigns for better engagement.
